In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Dr. Anoop has been deeply involved in a wide range of social and philanthropic activities, extending far beyond typical CSR initiatives.
As the former Global Chairman of the World Malayalee Council, he launched several impactful programs, including the WMC's "Jyothirgamaya - A Mega Eye Donation Campaign," which led to the donation of 319,952 eyes from 29 Panchayats in Ernakulam District, Kerala. He also spearheaded the Hridayaragam project, providing free pediatric heart surgeries for 200 children in collaboration with the Madras Medical Mission.
Dr. Anoop played a pivotal role in the formation of the Joint Action Council for Malayalis in Chennai for flood relief in Tamil Nadu in 2015, which led to the construction of 110 homes. During Kerala’s devastating floods, he and his organization donated Rs 1.25 crore to the Kerala government's Chief Ministers disaster relief fund.
Through the Vishwajayam project, monthly donations are made to support the maintenance of the New Cancer Block at Royapettah Government Hospital in Chennai. He has also led various initiatives to care for patients in the Trauma Ward at the Tamil Nadu Government General Hospital, Chennai.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Anoop facilitated the donation of ventilators to the pediatric department of Thrissur Medical College and provided an innovative device called Stasis to multiple hospitals, including Government Medical College, Kilpauk Medical College, Stanley Medical College, and Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai. During the lockdown, he also helped provide food to those facing financial hardships and supported expatriates stranded abroad by helping them return home through NORKA.
Additionally, Dr. Anoop has been a strong advocate for the upliftment of women in society, ensuring that more job opportunities are reserved for women within the establishments under the AVA group.
